Devarayanadurga, often called “DD Hills,” is a serene hill station and pilgrimage site located near Tumkur, about 70 km from Bangalore. Surrounded by rocky hills and lush forests, this picturesque destination sits at an altitude of around 1,200 meters and is known for its blend of natural beauty, ancient temples, and panoramic viewpoints.
The name Devarayanadurga translates to “Fort of the God,” and the place truly lives up to it. It is believed that the hill was once called Anebetta and later renamed after the Mysore ruler Chikka Devaraja Wodeyar. The area is home to the Yoga Narasimha and Bhoga Narasimha Temples, both dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built in traditional Dravidian style.
The hill is also popular among trekkers and nature lovers. The trek offers scenic trails surrounded by greenery, stone steps, and viewpoints that provide mesmerizing sunrise and sunset views. - To organize a trek we need at least 10/12 participants.
- If the minimum number of bookings is not met, we will offer an alternative trek or reschedule.
- Age limit: 10+
- Our facilities are neat and basic, not luxurious.
- The mentioned trekking time will follow when the forest team permit us to start trekking at the mentioned time.
- If the permits are not given to follow the time , the timing of trekking may vary accordingly.
- Our accommodations are many times sleeping bags and Tents, Dormitories, rooms with beds and sometimes just sleeping bags under the glittering sky.
- The average level of fitness is required to participate in the trek. We will not be responsible if any participant is unable to get to the summit due to their own limitations.
- NammaTrip shall not be responsible for any of your belongings, valuables, jewelry, etc.
- We expect every participant to be responsible for littering. Please keep every place we visit clean.
- You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destination to destination.
- We have designated pick-up and drop points, make your own arrangements of transport to the desired pick-up point accordingly.
- We may revise the Terms and Conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted.
- Nammatrip is not responsible if any injuries or accidents occur during the event.
- Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, or causing delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their own transport on the way back, Nammatrip does not hold the responsibility of terminated clients.
- Littering, smoking & consumption of alcohol is banned outdoors or anytime during the trek. We will provide you with a time and place to enjoy your drinks.
- In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and, in such cases, we will try to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
- Cancellation / Refund is done by the third party based on their policies.
- Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
- We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the venue.

Cancellation Policy - Devarayanadurga Day Trek
- permits are not available for a particular trek, we will offer you an alternate trek. Refund will not be initiated.
- 0-15 Days Before Start Date: No refund will be provided; 100% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- 15-30 Days Before Start Date: 50% of the tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee
- Once your refund is initiated, it will be credited to your account within 5-7 working days.
- In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternative feasible solution. However, a refund will not be applicable for the same.
- Cancellations are strictly subject to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

- t’s mandatory to provide government documents for Trek Permit like voter ID, RationCard, Driving license, PAN card, or Passport
- After the Book, you should send your Name, Age, and PAN Card or Driving Licence no via WhatsApp
- You should book a trek before 15 days.
- If the permit is sold out, we will reschedule or arrange an alternate trek.
- Cleanliness is our top most priority. So, please do not throw trash out anywhere in the trek place.
- As you are exploring nature, don’t expect luxury. Washrooms are only available at the hotel/homestay campsite.
