Day 0 – Departure From Bengaluru

Day 1 – Reach Gokarna and explore the Gokarna beaches

  • Check-in at Camp Site, freshen up & have Breakfast
  • Take a Ferry ride to the Starting Point of the Trek
  • Start the Beach Trek Explore Belkan, Paradise, Halfmoon, and Om Beaches – 6km Trek
  • Have a self-sponsored Lunch on the way
  • Reach The site by evening after sunset at Om Beach
  • Relax and retire in the tents by the beach

Day 2 – Sightseeing and New Year celebrations

  • Wakeup and freshen Up Have Breakfast
  • Your first step is the historical Mirja Fort.

Any changes in Pickup locations will be notified to the participants 10-12 hrs before the start of the trip.

Things to Carry

  • Strong backpack for trekking
  • Water bottles are at least 1-2 litres
  • Extra set of clothes (if necessary)
  • A Poly Bag to carry your wet clothes back to Bangalore
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses (optional)
  • Cap/hat
  • Toiletries: – comb, towel, soap, tissue paper, Toothbrush and other essentials etc. (if necessary)
  • A raincoat or a poncho
  • Personal medication if any
  • A torch with new batteries (can be managed by mobile light)
  • One box if you want to carry energy boosters like Chocolate bars, flavoured milk, Juice packs, Glucon-D, etc. should keep waste rappers with you, till you reach back to homestay or Bangalore, it is necessary to maintain forest cleanliness as a traveller
  • Sweaters/Jacket to bear the cold weather
  • Good trekking shoes
  • Camera/DSLR (if interested in capturing New Year memories)
  • Extra cash for Personal expenses/Meals not included

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Cleanliness is Our top most priority. Please do not throw trash out anywhere in the open.
  • You should carry your own equipment, like bags, sticks, etc.
  • As you are exploring nature, don’t expect luxury. Washrooms are only available at the campsite (you reach the hotel/campsite for breakfast).
  • You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destination to destination.
  • NammaTrip is not responsible for misplacing/loss of any personal belongings.
  • Consumption of alcohol, intoxicants, and smoking would not be tolerated during the entire course of the journey and the trek. Kindly co-operate with us to make the experience more fun.
  • Do not expect any luxuries on the trip. The locations that we host are in remote places and we do our best to arrange the basic facilities. The goal is to be outdoors.
  • The Food that shall be provided will be Basic Veg Food. We do not serve Non-Veg Food.
  • Put Litter in its place, do not trash your travel.
  • Namma Trip shall not be responsible for any of your belongings, valuables, jewellery, etc.  Kindly take care.
  • In the case of traffic delays or breakdowns, expect a little delay in reaching the destination.
  • Stay in a sharing basis 2/3
  • Washrooms are there at the property separate men and women
  • Do not keep any luggage in the property
  • New Year Celebration, Shows are subject to permissions by local permissions/order by the panchayat and police of Gokarna. In case of any disputes or last-minute orders leading to the cancellation of the New year celebrations, Nammatrip shall not be responsible and refund any amount for the same.
  • NOTE – We will create a Whatsapp group on departure date and we will be updating all the information in the group. So kindly while booking give us your WhatsApp number so that we can share the information with you. Or else enter your WhatsApp number in the additional information page after the checkout page.

Cancellation Policy:

  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternative feasible solution. However, a refund will not be applicable for the same.
  • Cancellations are strictly subject to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

Terms & Conditions:

  • To organize a trip/trek we need at least 10/12 participants.
  • If the minimum number of bookings is not there we will give the alternate trip/trek, or we will do the refund.
  • Stay in on the sharing basis
  • Our facilities are neat and basic, not luxurious
  • Our accommodations are many times sleeping bags and Tents,  sometimes just sleeping bags under the glittering sky.
  • The average level of fitness is required to participate in the trek. We will not be responsible if any participant is unable to get to the summit due to their limitations.
  • The food provided will be basic delicious Vegetarian food.
  • NammaTrip shall not be responsible for any of your belongings, valuables, jewellery, etc.
  • We expect every participant to be responsible for littering. Please keep every place we visit clean.
  • You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destination to destination.
  • We have designated pick-up and drop points, make your arrangements of transport to the desired pick-up point accordingly.
  • We may revise the Terms and Conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted.
  • Nammatrip is not responsible if any injuries or accidents occur during the event.
  • Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, or causing delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their transport on the way back, Nammatrip does not hold the responsibility of terminated clients.
  • Littering, smoking & consumption of alcohol are banned outdoors or anytime during the trek. We will provide you with a time and place to enjoy your drinks.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and, in such cases, we will try to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
  • If we cancel the event, we offer a full refund to all the participants.
  • Cancellation / Refund is done by the third party based on their policies.
  • Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the venue.
  • Rights of admission reserved.
