Gokarna beach trekking and camping – adventure trip from Bengaluru
Namma Trip will take you along for a trip from Bengaluru to what is known as the ‘Tourist Paradise’ or the ‘Temple Town’. Why you may ask? We will answer that.
The long stretch of untouched white silk-sand Gokarna Beach is every photographer’s dream. Walking on the moonlit sand and camping in the nights, hearing the sea waves is soothing and picturesque. The first day is beach trekking on the Heaven Beach, on the way visiting the nearest temples and monuments in Gokarna, as they are the most sorted local experiences for people.
A 10 km trek on the crystal beaches of Om, Kudle, Paradise and Gokarna. There is a hike till the Half moon beach cliff where people can catch a glimpse of the dolphins playing in the Arabian Sea from the top, near the lighthouse. You can also enjoy the ferry ride in the blue waters glistening under the sun and the sharp waves during the beach trek.

Second day of the camp after witnessing the sunrise over the sea we leave for the Mirjan Fort to feel the grandeur of the history of Gokarna and Honnavara from our camp, enjoy the fresh local cuisine, return to the camp again for a night of laughter and camaraderie around warm musical campfire with the group, later to return to our lives in Bengaluru.

Kanva lakeside trekking and night camping in Bengaluru
An ideal place for camping, fishing, bird spotting, soothing lake views, and long walks, hiking in the forest and nature photography, Kanva River has a lot to share. Water activities in Kanva is a treat to the thirsty adventure seekers, kayaking in the backwaters, canoeing, zip lining on the water, Theppa ride or wooden plate boating, paddle boating, roping, multi-vine, single line beam and swing walking, hanging tyres, cargo net climbing, pipe bridge and Burma bridge, swimming in the serenity, fishing by the campsite, water volleyball, rain dance, natural well pool and tag games. There are indoor board games to play inside the tent while relaxing with snacks and a picturesque landscape.
In addition to this, Namma Trip also offers nature retreats, hiking, trekking, forest trails, basic survival skills, wildlife preservation and trekking awareness and techniques for nature enthusiasts during the camp.
One of the popular places to visit in Bengaluru for tourists is the Kanva Reservoir, around 1920 acres, 15 km long, Kanva was built in 1946. Asia’s first automated Dam constructed by Sir M Visveswaraya during the rule of 19th Diwan of Mysore. Home to thousands of birds and fishes of all species and the Purushothama Thirtha Gavi temple just 3 km from Kanva River. Trekking places around Bengaluru, nearest to the camp are Narayan Giri and Krishna Giri Trek, Savandurga Trek, Ramanagar Trek and the caves of Purushothama Theerthara.
The private lighted tents for two to three people are equipped with cozy blankets, mattresses, pillows, hygienic washrooms, barbeque, delicious veg and non-veg platters to indulge in and packaged drinking water.
