Why Does NammaTrip No Longer Handle Permit Bookings?
No organization is allowed to book permits for individuals. If any organization claims to do so, ensure you receive a PDF copy of the ticket reservation before proceeding with booking the trek.
Simple Booking Process:
Receive your ticket reservation from the forest department portal. Book your trek package with us on our website.
Note: You do not need to pay for the permits. NammaTrip will cover the entry fees once you book the package with us.
We need minimum 8 participants for each trek with the official permits for us to conduct the event.

Itinerary for Nethravathi Trek

 

  • About the Activity:

    • Embark on an adventurous tour to Gadaikallu Peak amidst the lush greenery of the forest range.
    • If you have opted for the package with transfers, then you will be picked up from one of the pick-up points in Bangalore on Friday night.
    • If you booked a package without transfers, then you need to reach the homestay. 
    • Travel to the Gadaikallu trek base with a packed lunch and start the trek.
    • Visit mini waterfalls and several crystal clear streams flowing nearby.
    • Meet your experienced and friendly tour leader, who will lead the trek and will help you throughout the trek.
    • Reach the homestay, grab some delicious dinner, and choose to sleep either in the rooms or tents.
    • Enjoy delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Day 1 and breakfast on Day 2.
    • Wake up and get ready to make a beeline for Bangalore after breakfast.
    • On the way, pay a visit to the Golden Temple and Return with unforgettable memories

    Day 0 - Overnight Journey to Gadaikallu Trek

    • Get picked up in Bangalore

    Day 1 - Begin the Gadaikallu Trek

    • 06:30 AM Arrive at the homestay Near Gadaikallu Hill.
    • 07:30 AM Freshen up and get ready for the day.
    • 08:30 AM Enjoy a hearty breakfast and pack a lunch.
    • 09:30 AM Begin the Gadaikallu Trek, surrounded by nature's beauty.
    • 01:30 PM Reach the Gadaikallu peak and have a packed lunch with stunning views.
    • 02:30 PM Start descending back to the base.
    • 04:30 PM Return to the trek base feeling accomplished.
    • 06:30 PM Reach the homestay and relax with tea.
    • 09:00 PM Dinner

    Day 2 - Sightseeing | Gadaikallu Trek

    • 07:30 AM Wake up and get ready.
    • 08:30 AM Have breakfast, pack your bags.
    • 09:30 AM Checkout from homestay and depart to Bangalore.
    • 12:30 PM Visit Manjarabad Fort.
    • 01:30 PM Have lunch en route (self-sponsored).
    • 09:30 PM Reach Bangalore.

Once you've booked your tickets, we will reach out to you and provide you with more information like exact pick-up times, exact location, coach details and more on WhatsApp.

Any changes in Pick Up locations will be notified to the participants 10-12 hrs before the start of the trip.

Things to Carry

  • Face mask and sanitizer
  • Strong backpack for trekking
  • Water bottles are at least 1-2 liters
  • Extra set of clothes (if necessary)
  • A Poly Bag to carry your wet clothes back to Bangalore
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses (optional)
  • Cap/hat
  • Toiletries: – comb, towel, soap, tissue paper, Toothbrush and other essentials etc. (if necessary)
  • Raincoat or a poncho
  • Personal medication if any
  • A torch with new batteries (can be managed by mobile light)
  • Please don’t carry these this while trekking;1) Plastic Water Bottles (refilling to non-plastic bottles is available)2) Plastic Lunch Box.
    (Carry one empty non-plastic Tiffin/Lunch Box)3) Carrying Snacks is allowed only without any plastic wrappers while trekking. ( Fill ur snacks into the box without wrappers)All these instructions applies only on first day of trekking

NOTES

  • Cleanliness is Our top most priority.Please do not throw trash out anywhere in the open.
  • Your equipment and equipment distributed are to be carried by self, like bags, sticks, etc.
  • As you are exploring nature, don’t expect luxury. Washrooms are only available at the hotel campsite (you reach the hotel/campsite for breakfast).
  • You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destinations to destinations.
  • If you fail to do the Reservation we are not responsible for that. So at that point of time you can reschedule the trek to next week or go for different trek.
  • NammaTrip is not responsible for misplacing/loss of any personal belongings.

Cancellation Policy:

  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or reservation not done or government restrictions certain trips or activities may get canceled. In such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternative feasible solution. However, a refund will not be applicable for the same.  If there is any cancellation of the trek then while doing the refund 3% payment getway charges will be deducted.
  • Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

  • If Netravathi is unavailable, participants can choose from Kudremukha, Kurinjal, or Netravathi as alternate treks.
  • Our facilities are neat and basic, not luxurious
  • Our accommodations are many times sleeping bags and Tents, Dormitories, rooms with beds and sometimes just sleeping bags under the glittering sky.
  • The average level of fitness is required to participate in the trek. We will not be responsible if any participant is unable to get to the summit due to their own limitations.
  • The food provided will be basic delicious Vegetarian food.
  • NammaTrip shall not be responsible for any of your belongings, valuables, jewelry, etc.
  • We expect every participant to be responsible for littering. Please keep every place we visit clean.
  • You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destinations to destinations.
  • We have designated pick up and drop points, make your own arrangements of transports to the desired pick-up point accordingly.
  • We may revise the Terms and Conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted.
  • Nammatrip is not responsible if any injuries or accidents occur during the event.
  • Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, causing delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their own transport to the way back, Nammatrip does not hold the responsibility of terminated clients.
  • Littering, smoking & consumption of alcohol is banned outdoors or anytime during the trek. We will provide you with a time and place to enjoy your drinks.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and, in such cases, we will try to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
  • Namma trip can make changes in iternanry due to some restriction or wheather condition.
  • As it is group trek , every one opinion matter here to visit the replaced places.
  • we expect all passenger to support with condition and situation.
  • If we cancel the event, we offer a full refund to all the participants.
  • Cancellation / Refund is done by the third party based on their policies.
  • Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior at the venue.
