Churdhar TrekThe Churdhar Trek is a rewarding Himalayan adventure leading to Churdhar Peak, one of the prominent high points of the Outer Himalayas. The trail takes you through peaceful pine and deodar forests, open mountain landscapes, lush meadows and rugged terrain.
Beginning from Nauradhar, the route gradually climbs towards Jam Nallah before continuing to the Churdhar summit at approximately 3,655 metres. The summit offers spectacular views of Himalayan peaks including Kedarnath, Badrinath, Kinner Kailash and Srikhand Mahadev.
The trek also has a strong spiritual connection, with a visit to the revered Shri Chureshwar Maharaj Temple along the summit trail. The combination of forest trails, high-altitude landscapes, panoramic mountain views and spiritual significance makes Churdhar an ideal choice for both adventure seekers and nature lovers.

Itinerary
- Start from Chandigarh Bus Stand at 6:30 AM and drive towards Nauradhar, the starting point of the trek.
- Cover approximately 130 km by road before beginning the trekking journey.
- Begin the trail with a steep climb over muddy terrain, setting the tone for the adventure.
- Continue ascending through dense pine forests surrounded by peaceful Himalayan scenery.
- Reach Jam Nallah campsite at 2,855 m, nestled among cedar and pine trees.
- Enjoy snacks and a hearty meal at the campsite after the day’s trek.
- Relax and spend the night in the calm surroundings of the Himalayan wilderness.
- Begin the trek early from Jam Nallah for the challenging summit day.
- Trek approximately 9 km uphill towards Churdhar Peak at 3,655 m, followed by a 9 km descent.
- Ascend through dense forests and reach Teesri at 3,250 m, known for its windy mountain ridge.
- Continue beyond the treeline as the landscape opens into wide, rocky high-altitude terrain.
- Visit the sacred Shri Chureshwar Maharaj Temple along the route.
- Trek onward to the summit and enjoy expansive views across the Himalayan ranges.
- Witness views of Kinner Kailash, Srikhand Mahadev, Kedarnath and Badrinath from the upper trail.
- After spending time at the summit, descend back towards Jam Nallah campsite for the night.
- Begin the morning with breakfast at Jam Nallah campsite before starting the descent.
- Follow the 7 km trail back towards Nauradhar through pine and cedar forests.
- Enjoy the peaceful forest route and the final views of the Churdhar landscape.
- Reach Nauradhar, marking the completion of the trekking section.
- Board the vehicle and drive approximately 130 km back to Chandigarh.
- Conclude the Churdhar trekking adventure upon arrival in Chandigarh.

Terms And Conditions - Churdhar Trek 3D/2N
- To organize a trip we need at least 10/12 participants.
- If the minimum number of bookings is not met, we will offer an alternate trip or no refund.
- We have designated pick-up and drop points; make your own transport arrangements to the desired pick-up point accordingly.
- Namma Trip is not responsible if any injuries or accidents occur during the event.
- Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, or causing delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their own transport on the way back, Nammatrip does not hold responsibility of terminated clients.
- Littering, smoking & consumption of alcohol are banned outdoors or anytime during the trek. We will provide you with a time and place to enjoy your drinks.
- In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and, in such cases, we will try to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
- If we cancel the event, we offer a full refund to all the participants.
- Our facilities are neat and basic, not luxurious
- Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
- We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the venue.
Cancellation Policy - Churdhar Trek 3D/2N
- 0–15 days prior: No refund; 100% of the cost will be charged.
- 15–30 days prior: 50% refund of the trek cost.
- Refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days.
- No refunds for cancellations due to unforeseen conditions or government restrictions
Important Notes - Churdhar Trek 3D/2N
- Please contact the tour operator or driver for queries related to boarding points or vehicles.
- Arrive at your designated pick-up point at least 20 minutes before departure time.
- Kindly cooperate with the tour operator in case of delays due to unforeseen circumstances like traffic.
- Once your booking is confirmed, we will add you to a WhatsApp group on the departure date around 6 PM, where we will share all necessary updates and information related to the trek.
- If any tourist spots are closed due to strikes, weather, or other unforeseen factors, those will not be covered in the sightseeing.
