Auden’s Col Trek is a challenging high-altitude adventure through the remote and spectacular landscapes of Uttarakhand. The expedition takes you across rugged mountain trails, alpine meadows, glaciers and dramatic Himalayan valleys.

The highlight of the journey is the crossing of Auden’s Col at around 5,490 metres, one of the most demanding sections of the trek. Along the route, trekkers experience the beauty of Khatling Glacier, Masar Tal, Vasuki Tal and Mayali Pass, surrounded by magnificent snow-covered peaks.

The trek combines steep ascents, descents, glacial terrain and high-altitude trails, making it suitable for experienced trekkers with strong physical endurance. The expedition concludes at Kedarnath, adding a spiritual dimension to this remarkable Himalayan adventure.

Itinerary

    • Begin the journey early morning from Dehradun.
    • Drive through the scenic mountain route via Mussoorie and Uttarkashi.
    • Reach Gangotri and check in to the accommodation.
    • Overnight stay at Gangotri.

    • Spend the day allowing your body to adjust to the high altitude.
    • Visit Pandav Gufa, Gauri Kund and Surya Kund in the morning.
    • Explore Gangotri Temple and the nearby local market after lunch.
    • Relax and conserve energy for the trek ahead.

    • Start trekking from Gangotri towards Nala Camp.
    • Walk through dense deodar forests as the trail gradually climbs towards alpine meadows.
    • Enjoy the peaceful Himalayan surroundings along the route.
    • Reach Nala Camp and settle into your tents for the night.

    • Leave Nala Camp and continue towards Rudugaira Camp.
    • Follow a steep and challenging trail across rugged mountain terrain.

    • Arrive at the campsite and spend the night at Rudugaira Camp.

    • Begin the trek towards Auden’s Col Base Camp via Gangotri Base Camp.

    • Cross the pass and descend towards the vast Khatling Glacier.

    • Leave Khatling Glacier and begin the long descent towards Zero Point/Waterfall Camp.

    • Set up camp and rest for the night.

    • Take a recovery day at Waterfall Camp.

    • Resume the trek from Waterfall Camp towards Chowki.
    • Walk through lush forests and open meadows along the trail.
    • Reach Chowki and establish the campsite.

    • Continue the trek from Chowki towards the beautiful Masar Tal.
    • Walk through the remote Himalayan landscape surrounded by towering peaks.
    • Reach the pristine alpine lake and enjoy its serene atmosphere.
    • Camp near Masar Tal for the night.

    • Start the day's trek towards Vasuki Tal through Mayali Pass.
    • Cross the high mountain pass while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and peaks.
    • Descend gradually towards the sacred Vasuki Tal.
    • Reach the lakeside campsite and settle in for the night.

    • Leave Vasuki Tal and begin the trek towards Kedarnath.

    • Overnight stay at Kedarnath

    • Reach Gaurikund and relax after completing the trekking section.
    • Spend some time unwinding before the return journey.

    • After completing the trek, begin the road journey from Gaurikund to Rishikesh.
    • Enjoy the scenic drive through the Himalayan valleys.
    • Reach Rishikesh by evening.
    • Conclude the main expedition with your arrival in Rishikesh.

    • Keep this day reserved for any delays caused by weather or unforeseen conditions.

Terms And Conditions - Auden’s Col Trek 16D/15N

  • To organize a trip we need at least 10/12 participants.
  • If the minimum number of bookings is not met, we will offer an alternate trip or no refund.
  • We have designated pick-up and drop points, make your own arrangements of transport to the desired pick-up point accordingly.
  • Namma Trip is not responsible if any injuries or accidents occur during the event.
  • Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, or causing delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their own transport on the way back, Nammatrip does not hold the responsibility of terminated clients.
  • Littering, smoking & consumption of alcohol are banned outdoors or anytime during the trek. We will provide you with a time and place to enjoy your drinks.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and, in such cases, we will try to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
  • If we cancel the event, we offer a full refund to all the participants.
  • Our facilities are neat and basic, not luxurious
  • Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the venue.

Cancellation Policy - Auden’s Col Trek 16D/15N

  • 0–15 days prior: No refund; 100% of the cost will be charged.
  • 15–30 days prior: 50% refund of the trek cost.
  • Refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days.
  • No refunds for cancellations due to unforeseen conditions or government restrictions

Important Notes - Auden’s Col Trek 16D/15N

  • Please contact the tour operator or driver for queries related to boarding points or vehicles.
  • Arrive at your designated pick-up point at least 20 minutes before departure time.
  • Kindly cooperate with the tour operator in case of delays due to unforeseen circumstances like traffic.
  • Once your booking is confirmed, we will add you to a WhatsApp group on the departure date around 6 PM, where we will share all necessary updates and information related to the trek.
  • If any tourist spots are closed due to strikes, weather, or other unforeseen factors, those will not be covered in the sightseeing.
