Bagini GlacierThe Bagini Glacier Trek is an exciting high-altitude adventure through the remote landscapes of Chamoli, Uttarakhand. The trail passes through dense forests, peaceful Himalayan villages, open meadows, rocky mountain paths and glacial terrain.

Itinerary
- Begin your trip from Rishikesh and drive towards Joshimath.
- Travel through the beautiful Garhwal mountain region, surrounded by green valleys and towering peaks.
- Pass through the famous river confluences of Devprayag, Rudraprayag and Karnaprayag.
- Take a lunch break at a convenient spot during the journey.
- Reach Joshimath by evening and check into your hotel or guesthouse.
- Rest overnight and get ready for the trek ahead.
- After breakfast, drive from Joshimath to the village of Jumma.
- From Jumma, start your first trekking section towards Ruing Village.
- Cross the suspension bridge over the Dhauliganga River.
- Continue walking through forest-covered trails leading towards Ruing.
- Reach Ruing Village at approximately 2,800 metres.
- Spend the night at a Panchayat Ghar, if available, or camp in the nearby meadow.
- Leave Ruing and follow the trail towards the remote village of Dronagiri.
- Cover approximately 8 km through forests and gradually changing mountain terrain.
- The route includes moderate climbs and descents before becoming steeper near Dronagiri.
- Take extra care while passing through landslide-prone sections.
- Reach Dronagiri, situated at around 3,450 metres, with impressive views of Hathi Parvat and nearby peaks.
- Camp overnight in this beautiful alpine village.
- Set out from Dronagiri after breakfast and begin the long trek towards Longatulli.
- Climb a high ridge where the first views of Rishi Peak and Bagini Nala come into sight.
- Cross the concrete bridge over Bagini Nala.
- Continue along the rocky trail towards the green patches of Longatulli.
- Reach the campsite at approximately 3,900 metres.
- Spend the night surrounded by boulders, mountains and a peaceful stream.
- Begin the trek towards Bagini Glacier Base Camp.
- Follow rocky trails while enjoying views of Hardeul, Satminal and Rishi Pahar.
- Gradually climb to an altitude of around 4,600 metres.
- Experience the dramatic transformation of the landscape as vegetation gives way to barren mountain terrain.
- Reach the Base Camp and settle in for the night.
- Depending on the route and conditions, camping may also be arranged at the Advanced Base Camp.
- Wake up early and enjoy the sunrise over Changbang from the Base Camp.
- Begin the round-trip trek towards the magnificent Bagini Glacier.
- Follow steep and rugged terrain to reach approximately 4,900 metres.
- Walk across glacial moraines while taking in spectacular views of Hathi, Ghodi and Changbang peaks.
- Get a closer view of the glacier and its dramatic crevasse formations.
- Return to the Base Camp after completing the glacier exploration and rest overnight.
- Start the return trek from Bagini Glacier Base Camp towards Ruing Village.
- Descend through the high-altitude landscape and retrace sections of the earlier trail.
- Pass through Dronagiri Village before continuing towards Ruing.
- Enjoy the changing scenery as you move back towards the lower altitude.
- Reach Ruing at approximately 2,800 metres.
- Camp overnight and relax after the long trekking day.
- Leave Ruing and trek back towards Jumma.
- Follow the familiar trail through the Himalayan landscape.
- Once you reach Jumma, board the vehicle for the drive back to Joshimath.
- Complete the 60 km road journey and arrive at Joshimath.
- Check into your hotel or guesthouse and take a well-earned rest.
- Spend the evening relaxing after completing the main trekking section.
- After breakfast, begin the return drive from Joshimath to Rishikesh.
- Travel through the scenic mountain roads and enjoy the final views of the Garhwal Himalayas.
- Reflect on the incredible landscapes, villages and glacier experiences from the trek.
- Reach Rishikesh after completing the journey.
- Conclude your Bagini Glacier adventure with unforgettable Himalayan memories.

Terms And Conditions - Bagini Glacier Trek 9D/8N
- To organize a trip we need at least 10/12 participants.
- If the minimum number of bookings is not met, we will offer an alternate trip or no refund.
- We have designated pick-up and drop points; make your own transport arrangements to the desired pick-up point accordingly.
- Namma Trip is not responsible if any injuries or accidents occur during the event.
- Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, or causing delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their own transport on the way back, Nammatrip does not hold responsibility of terminated clients.
- Littering, smoking & consumption of alcohol are banned outdoors or anytime during the trek. We will provide you with a time and place to enjoy your drinks.
- In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and, in such cases, we will try to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
- If we cancel the event, we offer a full refund to all the participants.

- Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
- We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the venue.
Cancellation Policy - Bagini Glacier Trek 9D/8N
- 0–15 days prior: No refund; 100% of the cost will be charged.
- 15–30 days prior: 50% refund of the trek cost.
- Refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days.
- No refunds for cancellations due to unforeseen conditions or government restrictions
Important Notes - Bagini Glacier Trek 9D/8N
- Please contact the tour operator or driver for queries related to boarding points or vehicles.
- Arrive at your designated pick-up point at least 20 minutes before departure time.
- Kindly cooperate with the tour operator in case of delays due to unforeseen circumstances like traffic.
- Once your booking is confirmed, we will add you to a WhatsApp group on the departure date around 6 PM, where we will share all necessary updates and information related to the trek.
- If any tourist spots are closed due to strikes, weather, or other unforeseen factors, those will not be covered in the sightseeing.
