Itinerary

Day 0: Departure from Bangalore (Overnight Journey)
Vehicle: Non-AC with push-back seats for a comfortable overnight journey.

Reach the homestay around 6:00 AM after an overnight journey from Bangalore
Freshen up and enjoy a local breakfast
Pack your lunch in a steel box for the trek
09:00 AM – Start the Gangadikal Trek (inside Kudremukh National Park)
Trek distance: ~10 km (round trip) through shola forests, misty meadows & streams
Enjoy a packed lunch at the Gangadikal summit with views of the Western Ghats & Kudremukh ranges
Return to the homestay by 6:00 PM
Relax with a bonfire (weather permitting)
Home-cooked dinner & overnight stay under peaceful mountain skies

Wake up to a peaceful morning and enjoy breakfast at the homestay
Visit the scenic Kalasa Hanging Bridge with beautiful views of the Bhadra River and lush greenery
Visit Kalaseshwara Temple for a calm, spiritual experience
Lunch at a local restaurant (self-sponsored)
01:00 PM – Start return journey to Bangalore

Policies

Terms And Conditions - Gangadikal Trek from Bangalore

To organise a trek, we need at least 10/12 participants.
If the minimum number of bookings is not met, we will offer an alternative trek or reschedule.
Make sure to book your slots 3 days before departure; if not, your bookings will not be accepted.
Age limit: 10+
We need a minimum of 8 participants for each trek with the official permits for us to conduct the event.
If Netravathi is unavailable, participants can choose from Kudremukha, Kurinjal, or Gadaikallu as alternate treks.
MANAGEMENT DECISION IS A FINAL DECISION.
Our facilities are neat and basic, not luxurious
Our accommodations are many times sleeping bags and Tents, Dormitories, rooms with beds and sometimes just sleeping bags under the glittering sky.

Cancellation Policy - Gangadikal Trek from Bangalore

0-15 Days Before the Start Date: No refund will be provided, and 100% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
15-30 Days Before the Start Date: 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation.
Once your refund is initiated, it will be credited to your account within 5-7 working days.
If trips or activities get canceled due to weather or government restrictions, we will try our best to offer an alternative. However, no refund will be provided in such cases.
In case of trip cancellations due to weather conditions, forest permit issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, a 3% deduction will be applied to the refund amount. This is to cover payment gateway and processing charges.
