Standing at approximately 3,700 ft, the trek combines rugged mountain trails, historic structures, natural rock formations, and spectacular views of the surrounding Western Ghats.
The trek covers around 5 km and is rated moderate, making it a rewarding experience for both beginners with basic fitness and experienced trekkers. The route begins with a steep ascent before transitioning into flatter sections and continues towards Irshalwadi village. From here, the trail winds along the mountain slopes towards the fort and its distinctive natural rock formation.
At the fort, explore the temple, rock-cut water cisterns, Vishaldevi shrine, and the famous natural gorge known as Nedhe. The summit provides impressive views of Prabalgad, Manikgad, Karnala, Songiri, and the Matheran Hills, making Irshalgad an excellent destination for adventure, heritage exploration, and photography.

- 09:00 AM – Trek Begins: Start the trek towards Irshalgad Fort through scenic trails surrounded by lush greenery and the beautiful Sahyadri landscape.
- 10:30 AM – Reach Irshalwadi: Arrive at Irshalwadi village and continue towards the fort through the mountain trail.

• Minimum 10–12 participants required to organize the trek/trip
• If minimum bookings are not met or permits are unavailable, an alternative trek or reschedule will be offered; no refunds
• Rescheduling requests must be made at least 5 days prior and within 30 days of the original date
• Itinerary, activities, and pickup/drop timings are subject to change due to weather, traffic, permits, or government restrictions
• Facilities and accommodation are basic (tents, sleeping bags, dorms, or open sky)
• Average fitness level required; organizers are not responsible if participants cannot complete the trek
• Namma Trip is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings, valuables, cash, jewellery, or gadgets
• Vegetarian food only, basic and hygienic
• Alcohol, smoking, misbehavior, or delays will lead to immediate termination without refund
• Participants must maintain cleanliness; littering is strictly prohibited
• In case of organizer cancellation, refunds (if applicable) will be processed in 5–7 working days
• Tickets once booked are non-refundable and non-transferable (third-party policies apply)
• Arrive at pickup point at least 20 minutes early; transport to pickup point is the participant’s responsibility

Cancellation Policy - Irshalgad Fort Trek
Refund Policy
• Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days; in case of organiser cancellation, refunds are initiated after the trip date.
• Once initiated, refunds may take 10–12 business days to reflect in the original account.
• Refunds via the website will have a 3% payment gateway fee deducted.
• Rescheduled trips are valid for up to 2 months; beyond that, the booking is not eligible for rescheduling or refund.
Cancellation Policy
• 0–15 days before the trip: No refund, 100% of the tour cost charged.
• 15–30 days before the trip: 50% of the tour cost charged.
• Rescheduling requests must be made at least 5 days prior and within 30 days of the original date. No requests will be accepted beyond this.
• If permits are unavailable for a trek, an alternate trek will be offered; no refund will be provided.
