The trek covers around 5 km and is graded moderate. The initial trail passes through scenic forest sections before reaching the Shiva Temple at the base of the fort. From here, the route becomes steeper and more adventurous, leading towards the fort's caves and summit through rocky sections.
During the monsoon, the surrounding landscape comes alive with lush greenery, mist, and seasonal waterfalls. From the summit, enjoy impressive views of Ahupe Ghat and Siddhagad, along with the small Mahadev Temple and Nandi. The final ascent can be slippery during wet conditions, so careful footing and guidance are recommended.

Itinerary
11:30 PM – Begin pickup from Bangalore
- 12:00 AM – Reporting at Borivali: Assemble at Borivali and meet the trek team. Other pickup points will be scheduled between 12:00 AM and 01:00 AM.
- 04:00 AM – Arrival & Rest: Reach a small dhaba near Secret Lake and take some time to rest before the morning activities.
- 06:00 AM – Freshen Up & Breakfast: Wake up, freshen up, and enjoy a hot breakfast along with tea.
- 07:30 AM – Trek Briefing: Gather for an introduction and detailed trek briefing before beginning the ascent.
- 08:00 AM – Trek Begins: Start the trek towards Gorakhgad Summit, following scenic forest trails and gradually ascending through the Sahyadri terrain.
- 11:00 AM – Summit Break: Relax at the summit, enjoy the surrounding mountain views, capture photographs, and have some snacks.
- 12:30 PM – Descent Begins: Start descending towards the base village through the same route, taking care on the rocky sections.
- 03:30 PM – Reach Base Village: Complete the trek and proceed towards the dhaba for a well-deserved lunch.
- 05:00 PM – Return Journey: Begin the journey back towards Dadar, concluding the Gorakhgad Fort trekking experience.

• Minimum 10–12 participants required to organize the trek/trip
• If minimum bookings are not met or permits are unavailable, an alternative trek or reschedule will be offered; no refunds
• Rescheduling requests must be made at least 5 days prior and within 30 days of the original date
• Itinerary, activities, and pickup/drop timings are subject to change due to weather, traffic, permits, or government restrictions
• Facilities and accommodation are basic (tents, sleeping bags, dorms, or open sky)
• Average fitness level required; organizers are not responsible if participants cannot complete the trek
• Namma Trip is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings, valuables, cash, jewellery, or gadgets
• Vegetarian food only, basic and hygienic
• Alcohol, smoking, misbehavior, or delays will lead to immediate termination without refund
• Participants must maintain cleanliness; littering is strictly prohibited
• In case of organizer cancellation, refunds (if applicable) will be processed in 5–7 working days
• Tickets once booked are non-refundable and non-transferable (third-party policies apply)
• Arrive at pickup point at least 20 minutes early; transport to pickup point is the participant’s responsibility
• Bookings may be shifted to a verified partner if required
• Management’s decision is final; rights of admission reserved

Cancellation Policy - Gorakhgad Fort Trek
Refund Policy
• Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days; in case of organiser cancellation, refunds are initiated after the trip date.
• Once initiated, refunds may take 10–12 business days to reflect in the original account.
• Refunds via the website will have a 3% payment gateway fee deducted.
• Rescheduled trips are valid for up to 2 months; beyond that, the booking is not eligible for rescheduling or refund.
Cancellation Policy
• 0–15 days before the trip: No refund, 100% of the tour cost charged.
• 15–30 days before the trip: 50% of the tour cost charged.
• Rescheduling requests must be made at least 5 days prior and within 30 days of the original date. No requests will be accepted beyond this.
• If permits are unavailable for a trek, an alternate trek will be offered; no refund will be provided.
