Safety and security are our priority at all times. Hence it is safe for women/girls to join us on our treks and travels. Our trek leaders accompany the team at all times, and our campsites are secured and safe for accommodation. We also have female trek leaders who accompany us on most of our treks.

What is the Fitness level required for this Trek?

This trek can be covered by any kind of person. Moreover, it is an easy trek. Although the route is not well-marked, the trek leaders would guide you through. Along with this, you will cover most of the course by walking and jumping on obstacles.

When is the best time to trek to Madhugiri?

The months of September through February are ideal for the Madhugiri fort trip. The best times to go on the Madhugiri Trek are after the monsoon or during the winter. You can see the lush vegetation of the Thimmalapura Forest in all its splendour after the rain.

In monsoon Madhugiri Trek is recommended?

The monsoon season brings a lot of rain to the area. Because it becomes extremely challenging to navigate the steep areas during the rains, we advise you to avoid it.

At an altitude of 1,250 meters, one can have the mental pleasure of watching the sunrise with the background of surrounding forest on Madhugiri peak. Madhugiri, otherwise called Maddagiri, is a small town in the Tumkur district which is around 100 kms from Bangalore. The night trek will give the adjacent steep path, a fort built by Hyder Ali and a Lord Krishna temple.

Your journey will begin from Madhugiri base in the afternoon. Once you crossed the small landscape, the troop will enter Timmalapura Forest encircling the fort. You can smell the flora and fauna of the jungle experiencing the thrilling sounds of birds, animals or windy trees. The fort region will exhibit its architectural value. Here one can see many historical monoliths and some gateways. Even the steps are carved in the monolith, directing towards the hills. Set your camp at the top of the hill and enjoy the night time with bonfire and dinner.

The colorful swing of the sun wakes you up inflicting your emotions in a deeper level. Take your time to experience the deafening silence at the core of your heart. Once completed, your rejuvenating process, you can come down to your base camp. Carry all these images to your home.

Any changes in Pick Up locations will be notified to the participants 10-12 hrs before the start of the trip.

Cancellation Policy:

If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get canceled. In such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternative feasible solution. However, a refund will not be applicable for the same.
Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

The average level of fitness is required to participate in the trek. We will not be responsible if any participant is unable to get to the summit due to their own limitations.
The food provided will be basic delicious Vegetarian food.
NammaTrip shall not be responsible for any of your belongings, valuables, jewelry, etc.
We expect every participant to be responsible for littering. Please keep every place we visit clean.
You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destinations to destinations.
We have designated pick up and drop points, make your own arrangements of transports to the desired pick-up point accordingly.
We may revise the Terms and Conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted.
Nammatrip is not responsible if any injuries or accidents occur during the event.
Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, causing delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their own transport to the way back, Nammatrip does not hold the responsibility of terminated clients.
Littering, smoking & consumption of alcohol is banned outdoors or anytime during the trek. We will provide you with a time and place to enjoy your drinks.

If we cancel the event, we offer a full refund to all the participants.
