Itinerary

11:30 PM – Begin pickup from Bangalore
05:30 AM – Arrive at Skandagiri base (for those using their own transport, please arrive by this time)
05:45 AM – Begin the trek with a brief orientation from our guides
06:40 AM – Reach the summit to witness a breathtaking sunrise amidst the clouds
08:30 AM – Start the descent back to the base
10:00 AM – Arrive at the base and start the journey back to Bangalore
11:30 AM – Refresh and enjoy a self-funded breakfast stop
01:00 PM – Return to Bangalore, with drop-offs at the original pick-up locations

Once you've booked your tickets, we will reach out to you and provide you with more information like exact pick-up times, exact location, coach details and more on Whatsapp.
Any changes in Pick Up locations/ Details on Trip will be notified to the participants 6 hrs before the start of the trip.

Cancellation Policy:

If permits are not available for a particular trek, we will offer you an alternate trek. Refund will not be initiated.
0-15 Days Before Start Date: No refund will be provided; 100% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
15-30 Days Before Start Date: 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
Once your refund is initiated, it will be credited to your account within 5-7 working days.
Once the permits are taken in customers’ names, it’s non-refundable
If the postponement is made, the payment of the Permit has to be paid for that day.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternative feasible solution. However, a refund will not be applicable for the same.
Cancellations are strictly subject to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

Cleanliness is our top most priority. So, please do not throw trash out anywhere in the trek place.
As you are exploring nature, don't expect luxury. Washrooms are only available at the hotel/homestay campsite.

We have designated pick up and drop points, make your own arrangements of transports to the desired pick-up point accordingly.

Nammatrip is not responsible if any injuries or accidents occur during the event.
Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, causing delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their own transport to the way back, Nammatrip does not hold the responsibility of terminated clients.
If the 4 AM slots are not available, bookings will be shifted to the 8 AM slots. This applies to both passengers with and without travel arrangements.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and, in such cases, we will try to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior at the venue.

While Climbing or descending back there might be a small injury , if in case of any injury takes place to one place. People need to wait in the vehicle until they come back.

1. What is the best time for a Skandagiri trek?

Skandagiri can be visited during most of the year except monsoon.
The best time to visit Skandagiri or the Kalavara Durga fortress is within the winter months of October and January. It is not as cold as the Himalayas, but a pleasant breeze blows by, and you can get a panoramic view of flora and fauna in winter.
You could also visit Skandagiri between February and May, but there is a good chance that the scenic beauty will not be as good as the winter views. Also, you may feel warm during some parts of the trek.
