Day 0-Departure from Bangalore

  • Get Picked Up from Various locations around Bangalore.
  • Indiranagar- Karachi bakery-9:00 pm
  • Domlur-New shanthi sagar hotel-9:30 pm
  • Yashwanthpur- Konkan Express hotel-10:00 pm
  • Gorguntepalya- People Tree Hospital-10:30 pm
  • Gear up for an exciting overnight journey in a comfortable vehicle.

 

  • Day 1 – Kumara Parvatha Trek | (5,600ft) | (14km)
  • Arrive at Somvarpet and Reach your homestay.
  • Freshen up, and have breakfast.*
  • After breakfast to energize yourself for the trek,
  • Begin the trek towards Kumara Parvatha, taking in the scenic beauty of the Western Ghats as you traverse the lush forested terrain.
  • Reach the Kumara Parvatha Peak, savour the breathtaking views, and enjoy a packed lunch.
  • Start descending from the Kumara Parvata Peak. Return to the homestay, freshen up, followed by high tea and snacks.
  • Conclude the day with dinner and retire for the night.
  • If the weather permits, gather around a bonfire.

Day 2 – Sightseeing and Departure

* Wake up to splendid views, freshen up, and have breakfast.

* After breakfast head back to Bangalore along with sightseeing

*  Visit  Harangi Reservoir. (Harangi Dam)

* Afterwards, Start your journey to Bangalore with Bagfull of memories

* You’ll depart for Bangalore with an estimated arrival back in Bangalore between 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

  • Plate (Do not Carry plastic plate)
  • Carry Pickles/Jam
  • Water bottles are at least 1-2 liters
  • Extra set of clothes (if necessary)
  • A Poly Bag to carry your wet clothes back to Bangalore
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses (optional)
  • Toiletries: – comb, towel, soap, tissue paper, Toothbrush and other essentials etc. (if necessary)
  • Raincoat or a poncho, Cap/hat, Sleeping bag
  • Personal medication if any
  • A torch with new batteries (can be managed by mobile light)
  • One box if you want to carry energy boosters like Chocolate bars, flavored milk, Juice packs, Glucon-D, etc. should keep waste rappers with self, till you reach back to homestay or bangalore, it is necessary to maintain forest cleanliness as a traveler
  • Sweaters/Jacket to bear the cold weather
  • Good trekking shoes
  • Camera/DSLR (if interested)
  • Due to network issue there is no proper network in mobile phones so carry extra cash for Personal expenses

NOTES

  • It’s mandatory to provide government documents for Trek Permit like voter ID, Ration Card, Driving license, PAN card, or Passport.
  • Choose a Friday Date for Saturday Trek
  • To organize a trip we need at least 10-12 bookings.
  • Cleanliness is our top most priority. So, please do not throw trash out anywhere in the trek place.
  • Your equipment and equipment distributed are to be carried by yourself, like bags, sticks, etc.
  • Remember Kumara parvatha is only for trekking don’t except luxury
  • Alcohol, Smoking and plastic materials are not allowed
  • As you are exploring nature, don’t expect luxury. Washrooms are only available (campsite for breakfast).
  • You agree to identify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destination to destination.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 0-15 Days Before Start Date: No refund will be provided; 100% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • 15-30 Days Before Start Date: 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • Once your refund is initiated, it will be credited to your account within 5-7 working days.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternative feasible solution. However, a refund will not be applicable for the same.
  • Cancellations are strictly subject to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

Terms & Conditions:

  • To organize a trip/trek we need at least 10/12 participants.
  • If the minimum number of bookings is not met, we will offer an alternative trek/trip or provide a refund.
  • Make sure to book your slots before 3 days of departure, if not your bookings will not be accepted.

  • Our facilities are neat and basic, not luxurious
  • Our accommodations are many times sleeping bags and Tents, Dormitories, rooms with beds and sometimes just sleeping bags under the glittering sky.
  • The average level of fitness is required to participate in the trek. We will not be responsible if any participant is unable to get to the summit due to their own limitations.
  • The food provided will be basic delicious Vegetarian food.
  • NammaTrip shall not be responsible for any of your belongings, valuables, jewelry, etc.
  • We expect every participant to be responsible for littering. Please keep every place we visit clean.
  • You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destinations to destinations.
  • We have designated pick up and drop points, make your own arrangements of transports to the desired pick-up point accordingly.
  • We may revise the Terms and Conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted.
  • Nammatrip is not responsible if any injuries or accidents occur during the event.
  • Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, causing delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their own transport to the way back, Nammatrip does not hold the responsibility of terminated clients.
  • Littering, smoking & consumption of alcohol is banned outdoors or anytime during the trek. We will provide you with a time and place to enjoy your drinks.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and, in such cases, we will try to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
  • If we cancel the event, we offer a full refund to all the participants.
  • Cancellation / Refund is done by the third party based on their policies.
  • Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior at the venue.
