Get Acclimatized & Experience Leh
- Start the day with a scenic drive from Leh to Skiu, taking approximately 30 minutes.

- Upon reaching Skiu, begin a short trek of around 1 hour towards the campsite.

Drive to Skiu & Short Trek
- Begin the day with breakfast at the campsite before setting out from Skiu towards Sara.
- Trek approximately 10 km over 5–6 hours, gradually gaining altitude as you progress through the valley.
- Walk alongside the Markha River, crossing beautiful stretches of greenery, rocky trails, and mountain terrain.
- Pass through remote Himalayan landscapes and traditional settlements, experiencing the peaceful charm of the region.
- Keep an eye out for Himalayan wildlife, including blue sheep and marmots, along the trail.
- Reach Sara at around 3,500 m and settle into the campsite surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery.

- Trek for approximately 6 hours, navigating rocky trails, open valleys, and beautiful mountain landscapes.
- Cross wooden bridges over the Markha River and enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding valley.
- Walk past Mani walls, ancient ruins, and remote settlements, reflecting the rich heritage of Ladakh.
- Keep an eye out for blue sheep, Himalayan marmots, and other mountain wildlife along the trail.
- Continue through the peaceful wilderness until you reach Lower Hunkar and settle into the campsite.

- Cross small mountain streams and enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kang Yatse rising above the valley.
- Walk through high-altitude grazing grounds where yaks, sheep, and goats can often be seen roaming freely.

Terms And Conditions - Markha Valley Trek 9D/8N
- To organize a trip we need at least 10/12 participants.
- If the minimum number of bookings is not met, we will offer an alternate trip or no refund.
- We have designated pick-up and drop points, make your own arrangements of transport to the desired pick-up point accordingly.
- Namma Trip is not responsible if any injuries or accidents occur during the event.
- Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, or causing delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their own transport on the way back, Nammatrip does not hold the responsibility of terminated clients.
- Littering, smoking & consumption of alcohol are banned outdoors or anytime during the trek. We will provide you with a time and place to enjoy your drinks.
- In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and, in such cases, we will try to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
- If we cancel the event, we offer a full refund to all the participants.

- 0–15 days prior: No refund; 100% of the cost will be charged.
- 15–30 days prior: 50% refund of the trek cost.
- Refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days.
- No refunds for cancellations due to unforeseen conditions or government restrictions

- Please contact the tour operator or driver for queries related to boarding points or vehicles.
- Arrive at your designated pick-up point at least 20 minutes before departure time.
- Kindly cooperate with the tour operator in case of delays due to unforeseen circumstances like traffic.
- Once your booking is confirmed, we will add you to a WhatsApp group on the departure date around 6 PM, where we will share all necessary updates and information related to the trek.
- If any tourist spots are closed due to strikes, weather, or other unforeseen factors, those will not be covered in the sightseeing.
