Itinerary

Day 0 – Departure from Bangalore

  • Your Chikmagalur tour package starts from Bangalore.
  • Overnight Journey through Sedan/SUV/Tempo Traveller (according to the group size)

Day 1 – Sightseeing in Chikmagarlur | Stand Tall at the Highest Peak of Karnataka

  • Reach Chikmagalur in the morning and take a breath of fresh air amidst views of picturesque valleys.
  • Head towards your hotel and proceed with the check-in formalities.
  • Have a delicious breakfast early in the morning.
  • Depart to witness the magnificent beauty of the Chikmagalur.
  • Visit Siri cafe The big sculpture of a beautiful lady inside the property has become very a inactive among the tourists to take some pictures.
  • Head towards Baba Budangiri peak in the morning, a place known to be a sacred pilgrimage spot.
  • It is famous for its shrine of Hazrat Dada Hayath Mir Khalander who was a 17th-century Sufi saint.
  • Next, witness the white water cascading down over the boulders at Jhari Waterfall surrounded by dense forest and coffee plantations (Jeep ride self-sponsored).
  • After the refreshment, head out to witness the highest peak in Karnataka, the Mullayanagiri Peak. The 360 degrees panoramic view of the surroundings will fascinate you.
  • After the sightseeing tour head back to the hotel and enjoy your delicious dinner
  • Overnight stay in Chikmagalur.

Day 2 – Departure & Sightseeing | Indulge in adventurous water sports

  • Wake up in the morning and enjoy your scrumptious breakfast.
  • Check out from the hotel and depart for Bangalore.
  • On your way to Bangalore, head towards Yagachi water sports, a very famous spot set up in the backwaters of this dam that oers various activities like jet skiing, speed boats, banana boat, bumper ride, kayaking, and cruise boat. (At additional cost) Witness Belur Chennakesava Temple one of the grandest examples of Hoysala architecture that took 103 years to build.
  • Later head towards Hoysaleswara temple, also referred to as the Halebidu temple, is a 12th-century Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
  • Take a bag full of memories to cherish for eternity.
  • Depart for Bangalore Between 500 PM to 600 PM with a bag full of memories.

Note:- You’ll be reaching back to Bangalore Between 1100 PM to 1200 AM

Once you’ve booked your tickets, we will reach out to you and provide you with more information like exact pick-up times, exact location, coach details and more on WhatsApp.

Any changes in Pick Up locations will be notified to the participants 10-12 hrs before the start of the trip.

Things To Carry

  • Face mask and sanitizer
  • Strong backpack for trekking
  • Water bottles are at least 1-2 liters
  • Extra set of clothes (if necessary)
  • A Poly Bag to carry your wet clothes back to Bangalore
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses (optional)
  • Cap/hat
  • Toiletries: – comb, towel, soap, tissue paper, Toothbrush and other essentials etc. (if necessary)
  • Raincoat or a poncho
  • Personal medication if any
  • A torch with new batteries (can be managed by mobile light)
  • Please don’t carry these this while trekking;1) Plastic Water Bottles (refilling to non-plastic bottles is available)2) Plastic Lunch Box.
    (Carry one empty non-plastic Tiffin/Lunch Box)3) Carrying Snacks is allowed only without any plastic wrappers while trekking. ( Fill ur snacks into the box without wrappers)All these instructions applies only on first day of trekking

NOTES

  • Cleanliness is Our top most priority.Please do not throw trash out anywhere in the open.
  • Your equipment and equipment distributed are to be carried by self, like bags, sticks, etc.
  • As you are exploring nature, don’t expect luxury. Washrooms are only available at the hotel campsite (you reach the hotel/campsite for breakfast).
  • You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destinations to destinations.
  • NammaTrip is not responsible for misplacing/loss of any personal belongings.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get canceled. In such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternative feasible solution. However, a refund will not be applicable for the same.
  • Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

  • Our accommodations are many times sleeping bags and Tents, Dormitories, rooms with beds and sometimes just sleeping bags under the glittering sky.
  • The average level of fitness is required to participate in the trek. We will not be responsible if any participant is unable to get to the summit due to their own limitations.
  • The food provided will be basic delicious Vegetarian food.
  • NammaTrip shall not be responsible for any of your belongings, valuables, jewelry, etc.
  • We expect every participant to be responsible for littering. Please keep every place we visit clean.
  • You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destinations to destinations.
  • We have designated pick up and drop points, make your own arrangements of transports to the desired pick-up point accordingly.
  • We may revise the Terms and Conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted.
  • Nammatrip is not responsible if any injuries or accidents occur during the event.
  • Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, causing delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their own transport to the way back, Nammatrip does not hold the responsibility of terminated clients.
  • Littering, smoking & consumption of alcohol is banned outdoors or anytime during the trek. We will provide you with a time and place to enjoy your drinks.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and, in such cases, we will try to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
  • If we cancel the event, we offer a full refund to all the participants.
  • Cancellation / Refund is done by the third party based on their policies.
  • Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior at the venue.
